DAY 64 — DON’T NEGOTIATE WITH THE WORK
Kia ora whānau — Jamie here.
Day 64.
By this point the body understands the routine.
The engine starts quickly.
The joints warm up faster.
But the mind still tries to negotiate.
“Maybe today can be lighter.”
“Maybe shorten the distance.”
“Maybe skip the carries.”
That voice never disappears.
The difference now is simple: I don’t entertain it.
Today was about reinforcing the rule that has carried this project forward:
The work is not up for negotiation.

Ruck felt heavy early but settled after the first 20 minutes
Day 64 reinforced something important:
Discipline doesn’t mean you enjoy every session.
It means you honor the commitment anyway.
No negotiation.
No shortcuts.
Just forward movement.
Still here.
Still building.
Endure.
