DAY 50 — HALFWAY IS A LIE
Kia ora whānau — Jamie here.
Day 50.
People like round numbers.
They like milestones.
They like the idea of being “halfway.”
But halfway doesn’t mean anything.
You’re not entitled to the second half just because you survived the first.
You earn it.
Today wasn’t celebratory.
It was deliberate.
Fifty days in — the body is adapting.
The engine is stronger.
The mind negotiates less.
But complacency waits at checkpoints.
So today we trained like Day 1.

No music
Breath controlled
Posture check every 10 minutes
This is where honesty lives.
COOLDOWN (10–15 min):
Slow walk
Full lower-body stretch
Thoracic mobility
Supine breathing x 8 minutes
NOTES / REFLECTION
Squats felt grounded — stronger than Day 1
Grip fatigue set in early during carries
Ruck demanded patience in the final 30 minutes
Breath control prevented spiraling late
Day 50 reinforced something simple:
There is no finish line.
There is only the next day.
The work doesn’t get easier.
You get more disciplined.
Halfway is irrelevant.
We’re not done.
Endure.
